You will pay a lower premium if you are a healthy person that doesn’t use tobacco.  Your weight will play a big part so speak with your agent and see if losing a few pounds will lower your premium.  Also ask about break points, sometimes it’s cheaper to get $500,000 of life insurance than $400,000.  You may also get a discount on your home or auto insurance by combining them at the same company.  Be sure to ask your agent about any additional discounts that may be available to you.
