Helping you find a qualified insurance professional in your neighborhood is our mission so whether you need auto, home, life, health or business insurance you’ve come to the right place. Your privacy is very important to us at Get Local Insurance. We know that when you visit our site you are trusting us with your personal information to help us match you with a local insurance agent. We will not sell or share any of your personal information to or with any person or organization except: as authorized by you, as may be required by law or court order, or to participating agents and parties involved. Below you will find the guidelines we follow in handling your information.

What We Do

We specialize in connecting consumers with auto, home, life, health and business insurance agents. We do this in the following 2 ways: providing you with information to contact local agents on your own, or if we do not have an agent in your area we collect your information and pass it on to local and national agents through our affiliate. Your matching agents will use the information you provided in your quote request to provide you with a quote.

Get Local Insurance does not charge a fee to use our service. We are paid a fee by the agents who purchase leads and advertising from us.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

Get Local Insurance collects information from and about its users in a few different ways:

Cookies – A cookie is a small file sent to a users computer that contains information about the user. Cookies are used to personalize your visit to the site and to help improve your experience with the site. They allow us to see how and when you use our site and helps recall your specific information when you return to our site. They do not collect personal information such as phone numbers or email addresses. You have the option to accept or decline cookies. If your browser does not accept cookies than certain portions of our website may not function properly for you.

Log Files – Get Local Insurance uses log files to track how our site is accessed and used. Web logs anonymously track user information such as IP addresses, internet service providers, browser types, date and time, platform type, connection speed, referring and exit page, clicks to, from and within the site and state you’re visiting from. This information is tracked by Get Local Insurance to improve our site and ensure a better experience for our consumers. These logs are stored on our servers and do not store anything on your computer

Personal Information – If we do not have an agent in your zip code we will gather the following information from you and provide it to our affiliates in order to provide you with a quote: name, address, phone number, email address, birth date, drivers license number, social security number, vehicle information, house information, current and past insurance provider information, driving record, as well as any other information necessary to provide you with an accurate quote. This information is provided by you voluntarily.

How We Communicate With You

If we have a local agent in the zip code that you are searching than it is up to you to initiate contact with that agent. However in the event that we do not have an agent in your zip code you will have the option of requesting a quote by filling out the quote form. Once completed this quote request will be emailed to agents in your area that will provide a quote for you and may contact you via the information you provided (mail, phone, email, etc.).

Online affiliates and partners that utilize Get Local Insurance’s services are encouraged to comply with industry privacy initiatives and to take a responsible attitude towards protecting consumer information.
